24, August 2017, Professor Donggen Wang, Director of the Department of Geography of Hong Kong Baptist University, came to gave an academic report entitled Institutional Factors and Traffic Behavior. The report will be hosted by the dean Hualin Xie of institute of Ecological Civilization in Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics.

Professor Donggen Wang shared with several hotspots in terms of individual behavior research in recent years (such as mobility and accessibility, social spatial differentiation, happiness and geographical environment, etc.). The influence of institutional factors such as household registration on people's traffic behavior. Professor Wang believes that the urban-rural differences in China's Hukou are shrinking, and the geographical differences in Hukou are increasing. People with Hukou in the city purchase more cars than non-local Hukou residents, but the former uses less frequently.
